To the Director-General, KADGIS,
The IHSAN Development Forum, Mahuta, with due respect and appreciation, wishes to remind your esteemed office of the promise made to our community regarding the resolution of the land dispute between our farmers and the state government and other individuals.
On June 23, 2025, the agency under the leadership of Dr. Bashir Garba Ibrahim, invited us to a meeting scheduled for June 25, 2025, at the KADGIS office located at Ali Akilu Road, Unguwar Sarki, Kaduna.
We honored the invitation and attended the meeting.
During the meeting, after presenting our document before the panel we assured that everyone’s rights would be respected and protected. However, since then, there has been a lack of meaningful communication, except for a recent when some contractors came around to kick start a mosque construction on a portion of our land, which was met with resistance from our farmers that stopped them from doing anything that was where the DG. KADGIS himself called us for the continued of the project.
There by requested our cooperation and promised to resolve the issue promptly accoding to the law.
Unfortunately, we have not received any updates on the progress of this issue. We are unsure whether this is due to the nature of the commitment of the work or if the issue has been overlooked.
As a result, we are compelled to reach out again, as our community members are inquiring about the condition of the matter.
We reiterate our appeal to all stakeholders to expedite the resolution of this dispute to ensure peace and stability in Kaduna State, which aligns with the vision of our esteemed Governor, Senator Dr. Mal Uba Sani.CON.
Sincerely,
IHSAN Development Forum, Mahuta.
